4'' new construction IC housing for use in insulated ceiling or for direct contact with insulation. Aluminum outer housing helps dissipate heat and double wall inner housing can be adjusted to compensate for varied ceiling materials. Self resetting thermal protector deactivates fixture if overheating occurs due to improper lamping. Got Nail bar hangers for easy installation. AirTite construction meets ASTM E283 for air tight construction. UL listed. .
